We are looking to recruit appropriately skilled professionals to join our Special Education Needs / Disabilities (SEND) team as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs). LSAs are required to provide high quality assistance, support and academic challenge to enable young people with a range of complex / severe learning difficulties / disabilities and behavioural issues to access the curriculum across our SEND provision. You will be required to provide support across the curriculum and you must be prepared to provide personal care as necessary.
Relevant experience is essential and it is critical that you have achieved GCSE or equivalent in both English and Maths. You will need to be reliable, demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills, have an understanding of the need to maintain boundaries and confidentiality with students and have the ability to work with sensitivity and humour. The successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check and to undertake a range of relevant training.
