The Harbour School is looking to appoint a Pupil and Family Practitioner on a permanent contract to start as soon as possible with the Multi-Agency Behaviour Support (MABS) Outreach Service.
Pupil and Family Practitioner
Full time 37 hours (Term Time Only)
Band 6, Salary Range: £21,256 – £24,799 (Actual Salary Range: £18,354 – £21,413)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and empathetic individual who is committed to improving outcomes and inclusion for children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across the city.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced and respected outreach service using a relational-based approach to promote and develop SEMH so that all children and young people can flourish in our school communities.
As part of the Multi-Agency Behaviour Support Traded Service (MABS), the successful individual will work across all key stages, directly with children, young people and families, in collaboration with commissioning mainstream schools.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- Evidence of working effectively with children and young people or families with SEMH needs.
- A commitment to inclusion and inclusive practice.
- A sound understanding of effective interventions and support for developing social, emotional and relationship skills with children and young people, families and other professionals.
- A good understanding of safeguarding procedures and responsibilities.
