Pay band 3 £13,588 – £13,871 pro rata (£18,887 – £19,280 FTE)

You will also work as a playleader during the lunchtime break where you will plan, deliver and monitor a co-ordinated programme of high quality, physical activities.

You should have a qualification in English and Maths – GCSE grade C/4 or higher or equivalent.  Experience of working with children would be beneficial, but training can be provided.

Ideal candidates will:

  • have some experience as a teaching assistant, ideally having worked with children with specific learning needs
  • Be a good team player with good interpersonal skills
  • have high expectations of pupil behaviour
  • contribute to the ethos of our school

We would like to appoint someone with recent experience working within a school but in-house training will be available. Visits to the school, to meet with the Inclusion Manger are encouraged. Please take a look at our website to find out more about our school.

The post is for a fixed term to 31 August 2023 and pending the on-going need to support the child.  The post is Monday to Friday term time only, 6 hours 10 mins per day (30 hrs 50 mins per week)
