Your New Role

Portsmouth City Council’s Culture, Leisure and Regulatory Services directorate is a diverse service comprising a broad range of departments.

This role arises as a development opportunity for an individual interested in establishing a career in business administration and customer service.  Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the role will focus on providing administrative support to Seafront Services primarily, alongside a programme of training in business administration and exposure to other services within the directorate.

What you need to succeed?

You will have good communication skills, both orally and written.  You will be efficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and the use of business tools to keep accurate records and customer details. You will be able to prioritise your own workload and meet agreed timescales.  You will have the ability to work accurately and to a high standard both independently and as part of a team.

You will have an understanding of data protection, confidentiality and how it relates to the workplace. You will have a positive attitude and be someone who takes pride in their work and contributes to the success of the team.
