Post: Behaviour Support Assistant
Salary: Band 4, point 4 to 6 (actual salary £17,019 to £18,407)
Terms: Permanent/Term Time only

We are seeking to appoint additional behaviour support assistants to work across all phases of the school. This role involves:
- Supporting the morning routine in which uniform and equipment are checked;
- Acting as a ‘duty manager’ to support teaching staff during the school day;
- Working 1 to 1 or with small groups of pupils to support their learning in class or in inclusion bases;
- Run intervention sessions 1 to 1 or with small groups. Full training will be given for this aspect of the role.
Candidates for this post should be emotionally intelligent and keen to work with children that present challenging behaviours. A commitment to restorative approaches and inclusion are essential.
