Your New Role
The ASC service has undertaken an intervention which prioritises meeting the client’s needs and simplifies process to ensure that time is focussed on this objective. It is crucial that the client record system enables effective and proportionate recording toward this end.
In this post you will be responsible for ensuring that Adult Social Care IT solutions are configured to meet business needs by understanding business practice, future requirements, system functionality and capability. You will be focussed on Adult case management and client record systems, and provide application support, advice and guidance for Adult IT systems as directed. You will advise and make recommendations to management, project and system boards. You will ensure that the business applications comply with legislation and policy, as well as carry out options appraisals and make recommendations to meet business needs. You will ensure that Adult IT systems changes are configured managed; tested to clearly defined standards and the associated risks are minimised before being implemented, and much more.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will need to have a Business Information Systems degree or similar technology related qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience in a similar role to this one. You will be focussed on the needs of the client facing service and an innovative and creative individual. You will be a tenacious and ambitious person with excellent negotiation skills to be able to bring all parties/stakeholders on board. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with people at all levels. You will be consistent, supportive, proactive and flexible. You will be responsible and accountable for delivery of your personal tasks and outcomes. You will show a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
