Due to an internal secondment, an opportunity has arisen in this highly respected local charity working with people in crisis in our Circle of Support Service.

The Roberts Centre charity has a reputation for developing innovative effective services to support vulnerable people, families and children who are struggling to improve their difficult circumstances whether from homelessness, debt, tenancy issues or family breakdown in Hampshire.

The Circle of Support Partner, works in partnership with people who are in immediate hardship and requesting support in addressing the underlying issues causing their crisis.  The Partner assists with situations arising from debt, fuel or food poverty, other financial issues, homelessness or family breakdown.

As a Circle of Support Partner, you will be someone who shares our values and who has the passion to help us to improve the lives of children, families and adults. Having dealt with the immediate crisis, the Partner will work with a person to identify and develop their circle of support which might be made up of family, friends, volunteers or other agencies.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by The Roberts Centre.

Hours: 28.5hrs per week (I year fixed term in the first instance)

Location: Portsmouth – Gamble Road

Salary: £23,432  fte (pro rata £18,049)
