37 hours – hours will be worked on a 3 week shift rota including weekend and evening hours. There will be a 17% shift enhancement for this post due to changing shifts.

Your New Role

Reporting to the Senior Civil Enforcement Officer responsible for camera enforcement and Civil Enforcement Supervisors, working within the Parking Service. The role is principally to support the introduction of the Clean Air Zone monitoring and assessing traffic/transport problems and contraventions via Transport Management Centre CCTV systems and act according to prescribed procedures/policies.  Also, to act as an ambassador of the City Council promoting a customer service approach by liaising with members of the public on a day-to-day basis.

What you’ll need to succeed

Ideally you will have good and relevant experience of working in a similar environment including CCTV. You will have good interpersonal skills and can communicate with stakeholders at all levels, along with the ability to build a good team ethos, encouraging a culture of improvement and co-operation among staff, whilst being able to take ownership and lead on issues where necessary. You will have a customer focused approach to work which promotes your passion to deliver excellent service and continuous improvement on transport issues for the City’s residents, confidence in dealing with challenging situations and customers and able to demonstrate a high level of customer service and have the ability to work and manage under pressure and meet deadlines as appropriate.
