Located in the heart of Portsmouth, The Flying Bull Academy is two form entry and has a vibrant Nursery and an expanding SEMH Inclusion provision. The Academy is proud of its caring ethos; encouraging and supporting children to achieve their full potential.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and inspiring teacher for our expanding SEMH Inclusion Centre which currently provides 14 alternative provision places for children with complex SEMH needs aged between 4 and 9 across Portsmouth City. Once fully open, the Inclusion Centre will be able to accommodate up to 32 children.

The successful candidate will be a great teacher, confident classroom practitioner with high expectations of children´s achievement and behaviour. You will have experience and understanding of learners with complex SEMH needs and an understanding of positive behaviour for learning skills and approaches. You will have the skills to create a stimulating and purposeful learning environment, ensuring all learners are achieving their best. With a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills you will have a commitment to work as part of a team and contribute to the wider aspects of school life being committed to working in partnership with parents / carers, governors and the local community.
