Your New Role

Portsmouth City Council CSCS Education service currently use Capita One as their IT system to support their education service delivery. The system has been in place for a number of years.   Following a tender process to select a new system a 3rd party supplier called Access Group have been awarded the contract to replace and migrate the data from Capita One to their equivalent system known as Synergy.

What is the role:

Within this role you will be engaged to investigate and provide resolution for determination of the data cohort, data mapping, data issues during the migration from Capita One to Access Group Synergy. advising the CSC Education Business teams on what data cleansing is required on Capita One where appropriate. Other duties within this role include assisting the data lead  in training and developing ‘champions’ identified for each team within the department and ensuring data quality and integrity through the implementation and on-going management of appropriate protocols and procedures, implementation of archive and deletion processes, and establishing suitable induction and on-going training to support systems users.

You will be trained in the Access Group Synergy system and will use your communication skills to transfer knowledge to the other members of the project and PCC CSCS Education system users to make the right decisions and achieve the best outcomes

What you’ll need to succeed

You will need a knowledge of CSCS Education business practices as well as knowledge of Capita One business processes and data.  In addition, you will have good communication and report writing skills and the ability to accurately record date with an attention to detail.
