Background
Hotwalls Studios, located in a Scheduled Monument, is a landmark development in the city of Portsmouth. The site is home to 13 creative workspaces which provide an environment for artists and makers to develop their businesses and engage with the public. The site also includes a café (The Canteen, run by a commercial tenant) and the Round Tower which is used as a flexible exhibition, workshop and event space.
Your New Role
We are looking for the right person to develop a wide and varied cultural events programme for Hotwalls Studios to gain regional and national recognition as a creative visitor destination. You will assist the Hotwalls Studios Manager in the day to day running of the Hotwalls Studios site. You will be based both at Hotwalls Studios, the Civic Offices and working remotely.
What you’ll need to succeed
If you have excellent customer service skills and are used to working within a team. If you have a keen interest in working in the cultural sector with some experience in delivering events and curatorial or exhibition experience. If you also have a good range of computer skills, including the use of social media and digital marketing, also experience of using WordPress would be an advantage then we would love to hear from you.
