Job type – 26.25 hours per week Term Time Only
Salary Pay Band 3 Point 3-4 (£18,562 – £18,948 Pro rata)
Start Date: As soon as possible

This role has arisen at an exciting time for us as our two schools join together.  King’s Academy College Park is a large 4-form entry school with a strong team spirit and high standards.  We are extremely proud of our hardworking and friendly children who love to learn, our vibrant curriculum and our dedicated staff!  We work hard but also have lots of fun and laughter.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS/KS1 curriculum
  • Have successful primary learning support experience
  • Have the ability to deliver SEND provision under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo
  • Be able to adapt activities and respond to the needs of the individual, small and large groups without close supervision and to use own initiative
  • Have excellent behaviour management strategies that are sensitive to the needs of the child
  • Have good communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Have a good sense of humour and be a good team player
  • Have a growth mindset and high aspirations for themselves and others
