Resettlement Worker – Temporary Accommodation Support Service
Hours: 37 Hours per week (includes evening and weekend work at times)
Salary: £24,135 per annum (£24,738 from 01.10.22)
An opportunity has arisen for a Resettlement Worker in the Temporary Accommodation Support Service (TASS) within a charity based in Portsmouth.
As a key member of the TASS Team, you will support a number of families living in Portsmouth City Council Temporary Accommodation properties across the city. Your role will be to ensure that families are using the properties appropriately and to work with families to assess their immediate and long-term needs by offering practical advice and support, your work will help them to establish and maintain a stable tenancy ready to move on to their permanent home. This will include working together to produce an action plan setting out an agreed support plan. This is a fast-paced rewarding role where two days are never the same.
You will be motivated and have experience of working with other agencies to ensure that the families have full access to all resources, including assistance in registration with health services, schools, and community support.
