This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional SENCo to join our strong leadership team at Ark Ayrton Primary and Nursery School, Portsmouth

We are recruiting for an excellent practitioner who will lead on the strategic direction and development of our SEND ensuring a graduated response to identify and support children with particular learning needs to ensure they make great progress.  You will help shape our whole-school approach to inclusion and work together with colleagues and the wider school community to create a genuinely outstanding school.

Our SENCo will demonstrate high expectations of what all children can achieve, regardless of barriers; believe, as we do, that all children are entitled to access the full richness of a broad and often academic curriculum, and that children will thrive if given appropriate support to access and succeed in that curriculum.

We believe in offering opportunities for professional development and will provide one-to-one support, coaching and access to extensive network training.
