Your New Role

Portsmouth ASC are looking for a Senior Business/Data Analyst to join their Business and Information Team.  The role will focus on providing business analysis to support CQC Inspection preparation and working with the Information Management and Data Programme team who are responsible for making Portsmouth Adult Social Care more data driven. Initially the role will focus on enabling Portsmouth ASC to report on Client Level Data which will include determining the present state of processes, evaluating their good and bad qualities, documenting models of the processes, and facilitating teams to accommodate new business process designs.


You will need to:

Provide business analysis on projects to enable ASC to report on Client Level Data, in line with national requirements

Review the current data structure and business processes in SystmOne, compare with the Client Level Data requirements and produce a gap analysis

Work collaboratively with the different ASC service areas to amend workflows and current recording processes in order to achieve a position where the required data is captured through practitioners’ workflow recording


What you’ll need to succeed

You will have/be:

A degree or an equivalent IT, data and or business analysis qualification.

Able to demonstrate a proven track record in working on complex information management and data projects and problem solving, having worked at a senior level

Proficient use of office applications including Excel and Visio to document complex business processes.

The ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Proven ability and experience of continually encouraging and identifying, analysing and assessing alternative and improved approaches that offer clear benefits to perform business activities including the potential for automation and benefits of a new approach and, where appropriate leading implementation.

Able to define business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders

Business process modelling and data modelling techniques

Knowledge of project management life cycle e.g., Prince, MSP, Agile etc.
