The Service

What is Health and Care Portsmouth?

Health and Care Portsmouth is an ambitious programme that is already changing the way we plan and provide health and social care in the city. It continues to build on the work that the NHS and the council have already done together as part of the Better Care project.

We want to support people to live healthy, safe and independent lives by offering health and social care services that are joined up and provided in the right place, at the right time.

Your New Role

Reporting to the Head of Transformation – Mental Health Development, you will work with a wide range of key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality services for the people of Portsmouth City. You will be part of a team responsible for delivering a number of transformation projects, working alongside adult social care, our main health providers, and voluntary and community sector providers to ensure safe and effective delivery of adult and older adult Mental Health services for residents.

You will be given opportunities to work within other service areas as projects develop and business need dictates as part of a team matrix working principle.
