Southsea Infant School is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and driven individual to join our supportive team and lead Year 1. This post would suit someone who is already in a similar role, however it could also be a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate should be a highly motivated, excellent class teacher with a commitment to improving outcomes for all children.

The Year 1 leader will be responsible for teaching and learning across the base, providing motivation and support to others. You will ensure the needs of all pupils are met, enabling children to develop and progress in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment. You will oversee a broad and ambitious curriculum that builds upon pupil’s prior understanding and encourages success for all.
